The Mentoring Connection Academy

Focusing on evidence-based teaching strategies, incorporating emerging technologies and empowering meaningful connections, Mentoring Connection Academy in an online microschool that enables neurodiverse students to build confidence, master core academics, and develop the critical thinking and life skills needed for long-term success.
Our Private Academy specializes in two programs:
1. High-Impact Tutoring - a research-based approach to boost student learning, particularly for those who are struggling or experiencing challenges in standard school settings. We provide personalized attention and targeted support aligned with the school's curriculum. This can be designed for one or multiple subjects and is available for Secondary (grades 7-12) school, as well as University undergraduate and graduate level students.
2. Online Academic Learning Institution - with several core, elective and language subjects (grades 7 thru 12) taught by vetted instructors - ONE teacher to no more than THREE students.
- Full or Part-time students ~ Our curriculum provides equivalent instruction of the kind and amount approved by most State Board of Education requirements for Homeschooled students.
All enrolled students and their parent(s) are members of the Mentoring Connection, and will also have access to FREE group Enrichment Classes,.
Students will have access to a private online classroom with course materials, assessments and learning resources. Parents are provided with regular status updates, instructor comments, and quarterly assessment scores.

All enrolled member students at the Mentoring Connection Academy are invited to participate in free group classes that foster collaboration, creativity, and community. These engaging sessions include academic subjects and go beyond:
- Designing Computer Applications & Games
- Art Discovery - painting, sculpture & more
- Photography & Illustration techniques
- Exploring the Animal Kingdom
- Using AI for Writing & Storytelling
- French Language & Culture
- Spanish Language & Culture
By working and learning alongside peers in a supportive environment, students develop social connections, share their interests, and discover new passions while enhancing their overall educational experience.
Our Mentors & Coaches
All instructors with MCA have been vetted for:
- expertise in teaching their academic or instructional subject
- extensive experience with neurodiverse students
- thorough background checks & professional verifications
- certification as a Mentoring Connection Academy Neurodiversity Education Specialist.
Our staff receives regular training and our organization implements multiple continuous improvement assessments & programs.
